As a Senior Python Engineer at Workato, you will build core AI-powered services that enable scalable, reliable intelligent automation. You’ll work closely with product and platform teams to translate complex AI concepts into production-grade systems. Your work will shape agentic workflows and retrieval services used across the enterprise ecosystem. This role offers the chance to contribute to a high-impact platform trusted by leading enterprises.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered services and APIs leveraging LLMs and custom ML models
• Develop an enterprise-grade agentic framework for orchestration, retrieval, and collaboration among AI agents
• Implement and optimize knowledge retrieval using vector databases (Qdrant, ElasticSearch)
• Write production-grade Python code and maintain shared libraries and SDKs
• Collaborate on architecture, protocols, and API standards for reliability and consistency
• Develop monitoring, validation,



and observability for AI solutions
• Drive the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and improvement
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scaling challenges in data-intensive environments
• Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers to foster excellence
• Example projects include evaluation/observability framework for AI models, agentic orchestration platform, semantic retrieval over large knowledge bases, and scalable AI services

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of experience xqbhyrx as a Software Engineer
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience building production-grade systems in Python
• Understanding of distributed systems, API design, and data-driven architectures
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Elastic, Qdrant)
• Familiarity with AI/ML system design including LLM integration and evaluation pipelines
• Knowledge of DevOps and observability practices (CI/CD, monitoring, metrics, model validation)
