Senior IT Project Manager – Strategic Finance Transformation in PharmaFull-timeRole OverviewWe are looking for an experiencedSenior IT Project Managerto lead strategic finance transformation and financial technology initiatives within a global pharmaceutical organization.The role will drive complex projects focused on the modernization and transformation of finance processes, operating models, and enterprise systems. Working across Finance, IT, and business functions, the Senior IT Project Manager will ensure technology initiatives support broaderstrategic finance transformation objectives, including process harmonization, automation, improved financial insights, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery ofstrategic finance transformation and financial technology projects.Translate finance transformation strategies and business objectives into structured IT project roadmaps and delivery plans.Drive modernization, standardization, and optimization of global finance processes and supporting technology platforms.Oversee implementation and enhancement of financial systems such asSAP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Workday, and related enterprise ordinate Finance, IT, business, and external partners to define requirements, project scope, and transformation objectives.Manage project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, and change management activities.Support finance process transformation across areas such as reporting, planning, controlling, accounting, and financial operations.Manage vendors and third-party integrations, ensuring quality, compliance,



and alignment with strategic objectives.Ensure delivery complies with pharmaceutical industry regulations, IT governance, and internal quality standards.Provide executive-level reporting and communicate project progress, risks, and business value to senior stakeholders.Required Qualifications5+ years of IT Project Management experience in a senior or lead capacity.Proven experience deliveringFinance Transformation, Finance IT, or financial systems projects.Strong understanding offinance processes, operating models, and enterprise technology landscapes.Experience translatingstrategic finance objectives into technology and transformation initiatives.Experience with enterprise financial platforms such asSAP, SAC, Workday, Oracle, or similar solutions.Strong financial acumen, including budget management, cost analysis, business cases, and ROI.Experience managing complex global projects involving Finance, IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors.Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences,
