We are looking for a bright, customer-obsessed, data-driven candidate with vendor negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills to join our team. You will play a key role in helping us achieve our growth objectives by delivering significant performance improvements for our Grocery business, enhancing the customer offer, expanding product selection, and strengthening relationships with some of our largest suppliers in Spain.We expect the Vendor Manager to be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven ability to develop and manage relationships, drive results, and demonstrate competency in business and financial analytics. The Vendor Manager must be an effective leader and communicator when working with Amazon partners and vendors, as well as with internal cross-functional teams. The adecuado candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment.The candidate should possess experience in buying and/or finance. You must be a team player, comfortable with ambiguity, able to communicate persuasively, and capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel will be essential to your success.ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with vendors and set and drive priorities such as Lifecycle Management planning, profitability, cross functional marketing planning, and optimizing logistics set ups to deliver lower landed costsPlan and deliver annual and ongoing terms negotiation improvementsMonitor and research industry and competitive trends to make sure that Amazon is offering the best for the customerDevelop selection plans for Grocery categoriesBuild and manage promotional strategy for your vendors,



deliver product differentiation for customers and analyze and communicate vendor performanceSeek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivityBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience influencing internal and external stakeholdersExperience with purchasing or inventory management in e-commerce or retailExperience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilitiesExperience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyFluent in English and SpanishProficiency with Excel and data analysisPreferred QualificationsExperience leading process improvementsExperience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environmentAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
