OverviewWe are looking for aJunior Field Service Engineerto join our team inMadrid, Spain.As a Junior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of company products at customer premises. You will maintain strong working relationships with customers, sales teams, distributors, and other stakeholders within your assigned area.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesRespond, in a professional manner, to all assigned service calls while on dutyRead, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure ManualPerform all work in a safe manner, and in accordance with established company safety policy and local regulationsKeep dispatching center informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobsEnsure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts proceduresSubmit periodically paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner and, in case of Wireless Field Service, debrief the performed job at the Customer’s premisesMaintain the accuracy of the customer and installed base database by reporting errorsReport and promote sales or service leads to the proper departmentActively seek for tech. leads and service business opportunitiesBeing a reference point for key customers in case of emergency and troubleshootingWork closely with department supervisor to assist with day to day operational dutiesEnsure availability to work during week-end and night in compliance with local labor lawsFollow and respect,



in all its technical interventions, the environmental guidelines established by Vertiv Spain, and those that are specific to the client's facilities where the intervention is carried outAttend the environmental trainings that are locally requiredKnow and comply with the waste producer’s requirements established by the current legislation, concerning the handling, transfer and storage of wastes until their delivery to an authorized waste management companyKnow and comply with the procedures, instructions and action plans established by Vertiv SpainKey DimensionsHandling about 40 orders per monthJob RequirementsSchool BackgroundAir Conditioning or Electrical engineering high school diplomaLanguage skillsNative in the local language;
