Team / division overview The Senior AFC & Compliance Officer serves as the local Anti-Financial Crime and Compliance Officer for the Spanish branches of DWS regulated entities.



The role provides independent second-line oversight and advisory services across the full spectrum of DWS activities in Spain, including Asset Management, Distribution, Alternatives, Technology & Operations, Corporate Functions and strategic business initiatives. The position is fully integrated into the integral DWS AFC & Compliance organization and acts as the primary local point of contact for Spanish regulatory authorities, senior management and internal governance bodies regarding Anti-Financial Crime and Compliance matters.
Your responsibilities – Act as the designated local AFC & Compliance Officer for DWS regulated branches in Spain and ensure the effective implementation of the DWS AFC & Compliance Framework.
Provide independent oversight of adherence to applicable Spanish, European and DWS internal regulatory requirements.
Monitor regulatory developments affecting the DWS business in Spain and coordinate implementation activities with relevant stakeholders.
Promote a strong culture of integrity, conduct, compliance and risk awareness across all business and infrastructure functions.
Provide proactive AFC & Compliance advice and challenge to senior management, business units and infrastructure functions on regulatory and compliance matters.
