We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant to join our Madrid office and support international software implementation projects across Europe. You will work with leading organizations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and playing a key role in designing and implementing technology solutions that drive sustainability, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.

Your Role:

As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will lead enterprise software implementation projects, acting as the bridge between clients and technical teams to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements and provide measurable value. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, EMEA, you will become part of an international consulting team specializing in digital transformation and SHEQ software solutions.

- Advise clients on the implementation of software solutions supporting SHEQ, Compliance, ESG, and Risk Management processes.
- Analyze business processes and translate customer requirements into functional solutions.
- Participate in complex implementation projects, collaborating with consultants and analysts to configure, validate, and deploy functional and technical solutions.
- Ensure high-quality project deliverables through functional validation, testing, and end- user training.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and project meetings with clients.
- Build long-term relationships with international clients, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to service estimates, proposals, and solution presentations.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams on international projects.

What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of consulting experience, preferably in projects related to Safety, Health, Environment, Quality (SHEQ/QHSE), Compliance, Risk Management, or business process improvement.




- Minimum 4 years of experience implementing enterprise software solutions.
- Proven experience leading all phases of digital transformation and software implementation projects, including:
- Requirements gathering and analysis.
- Functional configuration and system setup.
- Functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- End-user training.
- Functional documentation.
- Quality assurance.
- Go-live support and post-implementation assistance.

- Experience facilitating workshops and managing customer-facing meetings.
- Ability to independently manage projects and client relationships.
- Experience with ESG, Compliance, Occupational Health & Safety, and Risk Management projects is highly desirable.
- Experience working with multiple enterprise software platforms is considered a strong advantage.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Safety Engineering (required).

- Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar collaboration and project management tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Basic SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with ESG or EHS platforms such as Enablon, Sphera, Cority, Intelex, Benchmark Gensuite, or similar enterprise software solutions.
