Formerly operating as FLSmidth Airtech, Airnord specializes in Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP), gas cleaning systems, and emission reduction technologies that help customers improve environmental performance, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance.Joining Airnord means becoming part of an international and agile organization where collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence drive sustainable industrial solutions across global markets.About the role:We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to support engineering, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities related to Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and associated high-voltage electrical systems.The role combines office-based engineering work with international field activities and requires close collaboration with project management, automation, service, and commissioning teams. The successful candidate will contribute throughout the full project lifecycle,



from design and testing to site commissioning and customer support.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys both technical problem-solving and hands-on field work in complex industrial environments.ResponsibilitiesDesign, review, and support electrical systems for Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) installations and upgradesPrepare electrical engineering documentation including schematics, technical specifications, calculations, cable lists, and reportsSupport commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and optimization activities at customer sites worldwideParticipating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), inspections, and performance evaluationsAssist in diagnosing and resolving electrical, control, and high-voltage system issuesCollaborate with automation, mechanical, and process engineering teams during project executionProvide technical support to sales, project management, procurement, and aftermarket/service departmentsInterface with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site personnel on technical electrical mattersEnsure compliance with international electrical standards, safety regulations,



and internal engineering proceduresContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical development within the organization.Support retrofit and modernization projects for existing ESP installationsRequirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or similarExperience with industrial electrical systems and power distributionHigh-voltage systems experience is highly valuedKnowledge of industrial automation, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems is considered an advantageExperience within heavy industry, process plants, environmental technologies, or EPC projects is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within international project teamsGood communication and technical reporting skillsFluent written and spoken English;
