Renowned shipping company located in Barcelona is looking for a Trade Steering Specialist.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for optimization of vessel/voyage across all trades, including utilization of feeders and shuttles, revision of sailings and schedules and its related reports.
- Responsible for all operational related matters across all trades.
- Responsible for equipment monitoring for the Area including forecasting and priorities assignation.
- Responsible for Commercial steering related reporting for the duly monitoring of incoming booking, vessel scheduling, market rates.
- Daily activity with the Team to increase profitability on the vessels with cargo mix optimization.
- Work with Trade Steering and BI to recognize new service and growth opportunities including target the most attractive business based on equipment imbalances.




- Ensure that the Knowledge Base files are always reviewed and updated to reflect latest commercial and operational guidance.
- Alignment on team relevant topics with all stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Logistics and Transportation Degree or similar.
- 3 years of experience in the same or similar position.
- Advanced English (C1) .
- Advanced Excel, Power BI valued.
- Analytical skills.
- Availability to travel.
