In this role you will lead firewall and network security operations to enable secure digital infrastructure. You will oversee NGFW, VPN and IPS/IDS services, collaborating with stakeholders to implement secure designs and compliant processes. You’ll train and guide external teams, drive security guardrails, and contribute to global security initiatives. This position offers hands-on impact with renowned OEMs and a chance to shape ABB’s secure connectivity at scale.

• Approve and manage Firewall Change Requests (FCA) in line with standards
• Oversee firewall management tool configuration and optimization
• Train and manage external teams delivering FCA within SLAs
• Lead projects around Firewall, IPS/IDS, or Remote Access services
• Maintain expertise in NGFW technologies and IPS/IDS from leading vendors
• Participate in network design and planning with stakeholders
• Document procedures and services for clarity and compliance




• Support business teams with security guardrails aligned to ABB standards
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• Excellent knowledge of networks and NGFW technologies
• Proficiency in managing Firewall and VPN technologies
• Proficient knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access platforms
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to manage client requests and handle challenging interactions
• CCNP-level networking knowledge
• Experience with firewall, IPS, VPN, SWG, WAF, Network Security Policy Management tools, and xqbhyrx DDoS protection
• Experience with general OEMs (Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, AKAMAI, Zscaler, NetSkope, Algosec)
• 10+ years in Information/Network Security with 3–4 years in Firewalls and policy management
• Good to have Cisco SNA and Algosec knowledge
• Include language, licenses, or visa info where applicable
