I am seeking an experienced health and safety professional to work on an oil & gas terminal based in Cadiz, Spain. The adecuado candidate will come from a similar industry, oil and gas, Petrochem, chemical, construction or other high-risk industries. The successful candidate must be local to Cadiz as no relocation will be offered and must be both Spanish & English speaking to be consider. This position reports into the CEO in country and will lead on this project, there is a dotted line into Global H&S; Lead.

The Health & Safety Lead will be responsible for

-

- Develop, implement and Lead an annual health & safety plan to establish strong KPI’s

- Ensure all H&S-related; policies, procedures & regulations are adhered to and reviewed & updated regularly across the site





- Lead on accident/incident investigations and identify root-cause and implement improvement plans. xqbhyrx

- Site-focused, carrying out audits and inspections across the project

- Able to work autonomously and manage their own diary and workload.

- Promote Health & Safety initiatives

- Manage internal & external stakeholders, building strong working relationships

The Health & Safety Lead will have

-

- 3 year + experience working in health & safety

- Degree qualified in health and safety is desirable but Certificate level considered

- Experience working in oil and gas, chemical, Petrochem or construction is a must

- Certification or strong working knowledge or ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards

- Ideally experience in emergency response planning

- Commutable to Cadiz or happy to stay locally 5 days per week
