In this pivotal role within the social media industry, you will be responsible for safeguarding online communities by reviewing, analysing, and moderating user-generated content to ensure it meets established platform policies and community guidelines. Key Responsibilities

- Review, evaluate, and moderate Spanish‑language user‑generated content across social media platforms to ensure compliance with community standards and platform policies

- Identify and escalate harmful, abusive, or policy‑violating content including misinformation, hate speech, graphic material, and fraudulent activity

- Analyse emerging trends in online behaviour and digital threats specific to Spanish‑speaking social media communities and provide actionable insights to the Trust and Safety team

- Accurately document content decisions and maintain detailed records of moderation actions in accordance with internal quality standards

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including legal, policy, and operations to refine content moderation frameworks and improve platform safety protocols

- Provide culturally informed judgment when assessing context‑sensitive or nuanced content originating from Spanish‑speaking regions and communities





- Participate in calibration sessions and ongoing training to stay current with evolving social media platform guidelines, trust policies, and safety best practices

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of trust and safety workflows by sharing feedback and flagging systemic issues with team leadership

Requirements

- Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written, is an absolute requirement for this role

- Valid EU passport (mandatory for eligibility to work on‑site in Athens, Greece)

- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital content ecosystems, and online community behaviour

- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to make sound, consistent content moderation decisions under pressure

- High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly relating to Spanish‑speaking markets and communities worldwide

- Demonstrated ability to handle exposure to potentially disturbing or sensitive content in a professional and resilient manner

- Good working knowledge of English for internal communication, training, and reporting purposes
