Job DescriptionAfter an introduction period assisting a Senior Vendor Manager, your tasks as a Junior Analyst – Vendor Management will include:Supporting the Vendor Managers by developing reports and analysis to sustain informed and strategic decisions for Account Management.Developing sales and purchasing volume forecasts on the account level and establishing a follow‑up nducting analysis of supplier and category nducting market and competition analyses as well as price comparisons.Supporting product range planning by conducting assortment performance reviews.Supporting the Vendor Management Team in supplier‑related projects and cross‑functional initiatives.Engaging with internal intelligence departments (BI, Analytics, Digital Insights, Strategic Assortment) to improve and develop data and intelligence that support Vendor Management functions, and participating in data and research projects.QualificationsGraduate degree in a business‑related field of study.2–3 years of work experience as a Category Manager or Marketing Analyst in off‑ or on‑line retail companies, FMCG manufacturers, or market research companies (e.G., Nielsen, GFK, Kantar).Negotiation experience or supplier management skills is a plus.International experience, ideally through internships or semester abroad.Experience in project‑based work, analytical and strategic thinking,



and the ability to structure complex facts.Understanding of customer needs and market requirements with an intuitive sense for brands and trends.Passion for teamwork and guidance of business partners.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to deliver and implement quickly, open to iterative learning.Intercultural competence.Proficient MS Office, especially Excel and Power Point;
Tableau or SQL knowledge is a plus.Proficiency in English.
