Our client is looking for a Junior Hardware Security Engineer to join their growing hardware security team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to work at the intersection of RTL design, So C architecture, and hardware security.You’ll help define and implement security features for Root of Trust, secure boot flow, cryptographic IP, and key management systems, while gaining hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis and secure hardware design in real-world silicon.What you’ll doSupport the design of So C security architecture, including Root of Trust, secure boot, and key storageWork with senior engineers to translate security requirements into RTL (System Verilog/Verilog)Assist in analyzing and fixing hardware security vulnerabilities in pre-silicon and production systemsLearn about hardware attack vectors such as fault injection, side-channel analysis, and debug interfacesContribute to documentation of security designs and findingsCollaborate with security,
verification, and architecture teamsWhat we’re looking forMaster’s or Ph D in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similarSolid understanding of digital design and computer architectureExposure to RTL design (System Verilog/Verilog) through studies or internships/projectsInterest in So C security concepts (secure boot, Root of Trust, crypto, trust boundaries)Basic knowledge of low-level programming (C and/or assembly)Strong curiosity about hardware security and willingness to learnGood communication and teamwork skillsNice to haveFamiliarity with RISC-V architectureAwareness of hardware security concepts like side-channel or fault injection attacksExposure to open-source hardware (e.G., Open Titan, Caliptra)Interest in cryptography and secure system design
