A goods transport business based in Palma is actively seeking a reliable Accountant to manage their daily accounting activities. Your key tasks will include:

- Performing accurate bank reconciliations, as well as reconciliations for client and supplier accounts.
- Managing invoice verification, controlling incoming and outgoing payments, and keeping track of deadlines.
- Entering all incoming invoices into the accounting software system in a timely and structured manner.
- Providing crucial support during monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and accounting closings.
- Collaborating with and supporting the external tax consultancy in preparing all required tax filings.

To qualify for this accounting role in Palma, you should meet the following requirements:

- Excellent computer skills, specifically a complete command of Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
- Educational qualification: A Higher Vocational Qualification (CFGS) in Administration and Finance combined with at least 3 months of practical accounting experience.




- Alternative qualification path: If you do not hold the specific vocational degree, you must have at least 24 months (2 years) of direct experience handling these exact accounting functions.
- A methodical work style, strong attention to detail, and reliability when managing financial figures.

What you can expect from this position:

- A permanent full-time employment contract.
- A gross annual salary of €27,000, with extra payments included.
- A regular workweek of 40 hours, scheduled from Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 17:00, including a one-hour lunch break.
