PMR Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Deck/Stewardess to join a busy 32m performance sailing yacht operating a dual-season private and charter programme.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about sailing who is looking to establish a long-term career within the yachting industry. The Captain is open to considering relatively green candidates, provided you have a solid understanding of sailing, a positive attitude, and a genuine eagerness to learn.
You'll work alongside an experienced and supportive crew, assisting the interior team during owner trips and charters while focusing primarily on deck operations when guests are not onboard. The yacht has an excellent reputation within the charter market and offers a fantastic environment for someone keen to develop their sailing skills.
The current Deck/Stewardess has been onboard for over two years and will be departing at the end of the season, allowing for a comprehensive handover to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all deck operations, including sailing, docking, anchoring, washdowns, and general maintenance.
- Support the interior team during owner trips and charter operations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service when required.
- Maintain the yacht to the highest standards both inside and out.
- Work closely with the crew to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Female candidates only due to cabin arrangements.
- Previous sailing experience or a good understanding of sailing is essential.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and excellent team-player mentality.
- Keen to build a long-term career onboard sailing yachts.
