We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support R&D; activities in the laboratory. The role will focus on:
- Laboratory Trials: Execute experimental protocols, process samples, and support analytical testing activities.
- Laboratory Operations: Perform routine lab tasks including sampling, inventory management, ordering supplies, and general laboratory support.
- Documentation: Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities.
- Coordination & Logistics: Manage product documentation, coordinate external analyses, and maintain associated software and tracking systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute weekly and monthly experimental development plans under supervision.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and precision of laboratory results.
- Collect, prepare, and manage samples according to standard operating procedures.
- Accurately record data in laboratory information management systems and maintain detailed experimental records.
- Operate a range of laboratory equipment and instruments, including performing routine maintenance and calibration.
- Follow all laboratory safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering of laboratory consumables and materials.
- Participate in training programs to develop new technical skills and laboratory techniques.
- Seek guidance and feedback from experienced colleagues to support continuous learning.
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, researchers, and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Senior Technician qualification or equivalent scientific/technical education.
- 1-3 years of laboratory experience in areas such as:
- Microbiology
- Cell Biology
- Genomics
- Analytical Sciences
- Related laboratory disciplines
- Experience with analytical techniques and instrument
