The Analytical Accounting Officer is part of the Finance Team and reports directly to the Head of Finance.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the organisation's analytical accounting framework by maintaining the cost centre and project structure,



ensuring the correct allocation and reconciliation of income and expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role provides reliable financial information for management and project reporting, in compliance with internal policies, donor requirements, and accounting standards, while working closely with Business Controlling.

The position is particularly suited to professionals with strong accounting and financial closing experience who enjoy working with complex datasets, multi-dimensional accounting structures, and financial controls.

This will include the following tasks:
- Responsible for reviewing purchase requests from an accounting perspective, ensuring the correct allocation of costs to budget lines, projects, and cost centres before financial processing.
- Ensure consistency between approved budgets, accounting records, and incurred costs, maintaining full traceability and audit readiness.
