Experteer Overview
In this role you build and optimize data pipelines powering ThetaRay’s AI-driven financial crime detection. You work closely with data scientists, product, and Ru0026amp;D to design scalable data flows that enable real-world money laundering detection for integral institutions. You will implement production data pipelines, ML data pipelines, and data tools that accelerate product delivery. The position offers customer-facing responsibilities and opportunities to train client teams, contributing to ThetaRay’s mission of safer finance.

• Implement and maintain production data pipeline flows within the ThetaRay system based on data scientist designs
• Design and implement solution-based data flows for specific use cases to support ThetaRay product implementations
• Build a Machine Learning data pipeline
• Create data tools for analytics and data science team members to optimize the product

• Train customer data scientists and engineers to maintain and amend data pipelines within the product
• Travel to customer locations domestically and abroad

Responsabilidades
• 2+ years hands-on experience with Apache Spark
• Hands-on SQL experience
• Hands-on Git version-control experience
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Impala, Hue, HDFS, Sqoop)
• Experience with Python (Pandas)
• Experience with PySpark/Scala/Java/R
• Hands-on experience with data transformation, validations, cleansing, and ML feature engineering
• BSc degree or higher in a quantitative field
• Experience optimizing big data pipelines, architectures, and data sets is advantageous
• Strong analytic skills with structured and semi-structured data
• Experience performing root cause analysis on data and processes
• Business-oriented with cross-functional collaboration
• Fluent in English u0026 French
