Clinical Manager – Adolescent Inpatient PsychiatryHours/Shift: Full Time – 40 hours/week, Day ShiftBenefits: Full Time Benefits EligibleSalary: $47.04–$60.09 per hourResponsibilitiesLeadershipProvide programmatic leadership of the clinical component in assigned areas to ensure quality patient care outcomes by implementing goals, standards, policies, educational programs, procedures, and practices aligned with the strategic plan.Participate in the development, coaching, and evaluation of department personnel, mentoring and providing learning and development opportunities for direct reports and ensuring shared governance and shared decision making are integrated with leadership practices.Demonstrate skill with interpersonal communication, presentations, written materials and group facilitation. Hold self and others accountable for mutual professional expectations and plianceMaintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, ensuring quality and adherence to standards by using auditing and quality assurance approaches.Partner with department leaders of Center for Professional Excellence and Accreditation Services to improve staff performance, compliance and documentation.OperationsServe as point of contact and resource for daily operations,
addressing problem trends and developing, planning and implementing solutions that improve processes and workflow for individuals and systems.Provide oversight and evaluation of clinical practices, patient outcomes and all practices associated with safety and quality patient care.Support patient care delivery in the area as needed.Project ManagementProvide leadership for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of specific projects.Financial ManagementEngage with day‐to‐day operations that impact productivity.Analyze and monitor financial performance, assist in reporting financial results, evaluate variances, determine underlying causes, and establish proposed solutions.QualificationsRequiredBSN3 years of nursing work experienceOhio license in the relevant clinical disciplinePreferredCharge Nurse experience and/or experience leading clinical teamsStrong communication skills, excellent written and verbal communicationCincinnati Children's is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and treasures Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
