About the role

C3 AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Guadalajara team and contribute to our suite of enterprise AI applications. You will focus on building scalable software and visual tools that empower users to deploy end-to-end AI solutions.

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico Engagement: Full-time

What you'll do

- Architect, build, and support full-stack applications that prioritize performance and scalability.
- Create and refine visual interfaces for data science and application development workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering peers to integrate feedback into the development cycle.
- Guide technical discussions regarding system architecture, UI components, backend integration, and testing strategies.
- Address bugs, resolve technical challenges, and improve existing product technologies.
- Oversee project deliverables and provide mentorship to junior engineers regarding design and coding standards.
- Contribute to team growth and foster an environment of technical innovation.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development using Java,



JavaScript, or other object-oriented languages.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and web development.
- Practical experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Redux, or Backbone.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on end-to-end project ownership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice to have

- Advanced degree in a science or engineering discipline.
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Background in distributed systems, test-driven development, SQL, NoSQL, and performance tuning.
- Prior experience leading engineering projects or teams.
- Proven track record of building scalable web applications.
