Your Role

As a Senior Automation Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete software lifecycle within challenging industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Lead all software-related activities within automation projects

✅ Develop, implement, test, install, and maintain industrial software solutions

✅ Ensure compliance with quality standards and validation requirements

✅ Prepare software validation documentation

✅ Act as the technical expert and point of contact for software-related topics

✅ Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders

✅ Contribute to innovative solutions that improve productivity and sustainability

Your Profile

You combine strong technical expertise with a proactive and solution-focused mindset.

Requirements

✔ Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience





✔ 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and software engineering

✔ Strong knowledge of:

- Siemens TIA Portal
- SCL
- STL
- LAD
- SQL

✔ Experience with Schneider Drives is a strong asset

✔ Knowledge of .NET is a plus

✔ Fluent in English

✔ Dutch is an advantage

✔ Willing to work on-site 3 days per week in the Halle or Wommelgem region

✔ Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
