Freelance DevOps Engineer – Brussels, Belgium (12-Month Contract)

Overview

We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance DevOps Engineer to join a leading client in Brussels on an initial 12-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
- Manage and support Kubernetes and Docker environments.
- Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or Azure).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise platform performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and DevOps practices.

Requirements

- 5+ years' experience in a DevOps engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Linux.




- Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar.
- Fluent English is required; French or Dutch is an advantage.
