- M&A; – Broad and full sector coverage with a proven track record of helping banks, lending platforms, insurance companies, asset & wealth managers, financial business services companies, fintech, payments and all FIG related companies.

- Credit Portfolio – Leading advisor on distressed and non-core assets transactions via whole loan or ABS (secured/unsecured NPLs, REOs).

- Secured Funding and Asset Backed Securities (SFABS) – Experience across the full range of credit assets from distressed loans to performing corporate receivables to real estate owned assets.

Job Description

Based in Madrid, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our FIG team, specifically in the M&A; area.

Responsibilities

-

- Having a central role in the execution and management of active mandates, from pitch to closing, supporting senior and junior team members, and transforming marketing ideas/leads into pitches or other suitable marketing materials.

- Strong client exposure, making their perspective central to project management.

- Identifying and anticipating clients’ needs, planning for themselves and the team.





- Identifying and organizing junior resources to meet and deliver deadlines focusing on the highest priorities.

- Acting as a role model to junior team members through permanent coaching and training to challenge, develop and empower them.

- Demonstrating a commercial mindset and the ability to suggest ideas to clients leading to potential future business for the firm.

Requirements

-

- Strong academic background and results.

- Professional maturity, at least 6 years of experience from a leading investment bank, M&A; boutique, leverage finance house or Big 4 accounting firm; preferred experience in FIG.

- Ability to manage several projects at once and work equally effectively as an individual and as part of a team.

- Excellent financial knowledge (accounting and company valuation) and understanding of financial statements.

- High technical skills, ability to digest large amounts of complex information.

- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute own ideas and work autonomously.

- Capable of working under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities.

- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).

- Attention to detail.

- Proficiency (written and spoken) in English and Spanish is a compulsory requirement.

- Committed, rigorous, detail-oriented attitude combined with ability to show initiative and to make decisions.

- Complete fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory.
