ppAs Head of the Web Ecosystem, you will own the mid- and long-term strategy for JetBrains products for JavaScript and TypeScript developers. /p pThis role focuses on aligning product direction, go-to-market efforts, and external partnerships with the rapidly evolving web development ecosystem. You will translate ecosystem signals – from frameworks and tooling to community practices – into clear strategic priorities for JetBrains products. /p pYou will work closely with engineering, product management, marketing, and developer advocacy teams, and represent JetBrains in the broader web developer community. /p h3Core Responsibilities /h3 ul liSet the strategy and direction for JetBrains products for web developers. Start new product directions when important niches are not addressed. /li liDefine the work for product management, marketing, developer advocacy, and partnerships in the web ecosystem, and keep everyone working toward one plan. /li liTrack important changes and trends in the web community (frameworks, tooling, major releases, new workflows). /li liBuild and maintain relationships with key people in the web ecosystem (companies, open-source projects, community leaders). /li liWork with engineering and QA leads to set priorities and plan work. /li liRepresent JetBrains in the web ecosystem at key events and meetings. /li liCoordinate with other ecosystems when areas overlap (e.g. Databases, Go, AI). /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liA deep understanding of how web developers work: JavaScript/TypeScript, major frameworks (especially React), Node.js and browser tooling, package managers, build tools, code quality tools (linting/formatting), testing, and performance tooling. /li liExperience setting product direction based on market needs as a Product Manager or Head of Product. /li liExperience leading work across product management, marketing,
developer advocacy, and business development, directly or through cross-team leadership. /li liStrong external-facing capability, including partnerships, community engagement, and executive-level communication. /li liThe ability to use data for decisions, combining community feedback with product usage and business results. /li /ul h3Why join JetBrains? /h3 ul liStrong base salary.
