In this role you will support and evolve a business-critical Clearing ecosystem, contributing to a next-generation unified Clearing platform. You will work with Oracle, PL/SQL, Java, and modern architectures to ensure stability, performance, and reliability in a complex financial environment. The position offers a mix of Madrid or Barcelona location with up to 40% remote work and a 24/7 on-call rotation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive modernization and seamless integration of European Clearing systems.

• Develop and maintain robust PL/SQL solutions for core Clearing processes with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
• Understand Clearing applications ecosystem, data models, and dependencies
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents as part of L3 support
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to improve stability




• Participate in off-hours support for high-priority incidents affecting Clearing operations
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate with microservices
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and handover processes
• Work with business, operations, and risk teams to ensure compliant operation of Clearing services
• Contribute to re-architecture and development of a unified Clearing platform across European systems

Responsabilidades
• Strong expertise in Oracle databases and advanced PL/SQL development xqbhyrx
• Experience with complex data processing and performance optimization
• Background in application and system architecture, especially in legacy environments
• Understanding of Clearing domain is a plus
• Some experience with Java (microservices) and Linux environments
• Proficiency in Spanish and English (B2 minimum)
• Availability for planned off-hours support and 24/7 on-call rotation
