Overview
Airbus offers a full?time graduate programme in Spain (#Discover II *********).
The programme runs from 5 October **** until 1 October **** and includes an 11?month internship at Airbus combined with a Master study block.
The internship is full?time (40 h/week) and the student will receive a study grant.
Responsibilities
Gather and organise historical company quotation data and project budgets.
Consolidate multi?source inputs from different departments, suppliers, and contributors into a unified database.
Conduct comparative analysis between initial estimated quotes and final execution costs.
Identify cost variances and pinpoint specific contributors or areas exceeding allocated budgets.
Develop analytical dashboards or tracking sheets to visualise pricing trends and deviations.
Draft comprehensive reports with actionable insights to improve future bidding competitiveness.
Present data?driven findings to the project manager and relevant internal stakeholders.
Knowledge to be acquired
Advanced data analysis skills applied to real?world corporate financial data and cost modelling.
Expertise in analytical tools such as advanced Google Sheets, business intelligence software, or internal ERP systems.
In?depth understanding of corporate bidding, commercial quoting processes, and procurement workflows.
Strategic budget management techniques, specifically variance analysis and cost control methodologies.
Critical thinking and problem?solving by translating raw financial metrics into strategic business recommendations.
Cross?departmental communication through collaboration with various project contributors and HR teams.
Professional reporting skills, learning how to present financial insights clearly to corporate decision?makers.
Projects and Working Areas
The internship will be carried out in a Programme for regular activities and will interface with Finance, Marketing and Sales, Procurement, Finances and Controlling,
Engineering, and Production, among many others.

Required skills
Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering by UC3M.
English level: C1.
General knowledge in aerospace industry.
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, curiosity and proactivity.
