As part of our Events & Banqueting team, you will be the key point of contact for meeting planners, event organizers, and hotel departments, ensuring that every conference, meeting, incentive, gala, or social event runs seamlessly from start to finish.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

- Act as the primary on-site contact for meeting planners, event organizers, and conference delegates.
- Coordinate event operations with all relevant hotel departments, including Banquets, Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Audio Visual teams.
- Monitor event setup and breakdown to ensure spaces meet client specifications and Hyatt brand standards.
- Conduct pre-event and during-event checks to guarantee flawless execution.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client requests and operational challenges.
- Manage event signage, materials, meeting room arrangements, and logistics.
- Maintain accurate event documentation and communicate updates effectively across departments.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive solutions throughout the event lifecycle.




- Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Represent Grand Hyatt Barcelona with professionalism, warmth, and a commitment to exceptional service.

Who You Are

- Previous experience in Hospitality, Events, Meetings & Conferences, Banqueting, or a guest-facing luxury service environment is preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are an asset.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Able to prioritize tasks and remain calm under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented.
- Comfortable working flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Legally authorized to work in Spain.
