Banquet Waiter

At Grand Hyatt Barcelona, one of the city’s newest luxury landmarks, we are looking for motivated, service-driven, and detail-oriented professionals to join our Banquet Waiter Team.

The Banquet Waiter plays an important role in delivering exceptional service during meetings and events, ensuring seamless operations, professional presentation, and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

- Prepare and set up banquet rooms, meeting spaces, buffets, and event areas according to event requirements and Hyatt standards
- Deliver professional food and beverage service during conferences, meetings, weddings, gala dinners, and special events
- Ensure tables, stations, equipment, and service areas are maintained to luxury hospitality standards
- Welcome and assist event clients and guests, providing attentive, personalized, and professional service
- Support Banqueting Supervisors and Managers during live events to ensure smooth operations and timely service
- Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests, ensuring an exceptional guest experience




- Assist with replenishment of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment throughout events
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards before, during, and after every function

Who You Are

- Previous experience in Food & Beverage, Banqueting, Restaurants, Hotels, or a customer-service environment is preferred
- Fluent in Spanish; English is a plus
- Service-oriented, professional, and passionate about hospitality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to operational needs
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays according to business needs
- Eligible to work in Spain/EU
