Our business principles include: Integrity, Health, Safety Environment, Quality Professionalism, Respect, Sustainability, and Leadership. /ph3Job Description /h3pbMAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: /b /ppbCoC (Chain of Custody) Regional Manager /b for Affiliates in Western Europe and Americas is responsible for Quality assurance for audits, technical support for the assigned affiliates and other tasks assigned for maintaining the accreditations. /ppThe role reports to the bManager of the CBE European Competence Center Forestry Timber and Paper /b. /ppbRESPONSIBILITIES /b /pulliSupporting the development of the CBE timber and paper certification business (primarily FSC/PEFC COC certification, timber due diligence services) in the regions of the assigned affiliates (Western Europe and Americas). /liliConstantly ensure proper level of communication and interaction with the Global Forestry Team to evaluate common business development options. /liliSupporting the Global technical Manager in revising the COC procedures and associated documents. Ensure that COC accreditation standards are incorporated into the SGS procedures and communicated with the affiliates and auditors. /liliProvide technical support and information to assigned SGS affiliates in a timely manner. /liliCoordinate the technical review of COC reports to ensure that the reports are in line with the accreditation requirements and certification decision making.
/liliPerform technical reviews of COC reports if required. /liliPerform Technical Internal Office Audits (L2) according to the global audit plan. /liliAssure well maintenance of the FSC Database. /liliQuality management and monitoring performance of SGS delivering affiliates (KPI management). /liliAssure the FSC Trademark approval service with qualified trademark officers. /liliAssure that all necessary records are maintained as required by accreditation requirements. /liliAttend accreditation body audits and follow-up on accreditation body CARs as advised by the Accreditation Manager(s). /liliFollow-up on complaint and appeals as advised by the Accreditation Manager(s). /liliSetup and maintain formal initial and update trainings for COC auditors (Training tools, Academy) in collaboration with the Training Manager. /liliSupport the General Training Manager with required trainings for FSC and PEFC COC (initial auditor training, update trainings). /liliAct as Tutor for COC Lead Auditor Trainings /liliAssure the certification competences, in cooperation with the Accreditation Manager(s). /liliConsult Affiliates in hiring, training and registration of new auditors. Prepare the New Auditor Application Packages for signature be the accreditation Manager. /liliConduct L1 audits of COC auditors if required. /liliAdhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system. /liliConduct training courses as assigned by direct line manager. /liliConduct FSC audits as assigned if required. /liliPerform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
