Role Overview

The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results‑oriented individual to serve as Grid Delivery Manager. The role focuses on delivering large‑scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

-

- Deliver grid interconnection projects from design to energization.

- Communicate with diverse teams including design engineering, construction, planning, environmental, and real estate.

- Manage stakeholder engagement and provide weekly risk & issue reports to senior management, directors, and vice presidents.

- Drive grid infrastructure delivery program, standardize processes, develop tools, and support financial budgeting.

Basic Qualifications

-

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or a similar technical focus.

- Experience building and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to operate and thrive with partial information, high levels of ambiguity,



and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.

- 5+ years of experience in building power substations, working with utilities, and understanding their environment and culture.

- Experience analyzing cost/benefit trade‑offs across a strategic portfolio and a demonstrated understanding of how to successfully transact business in multiple cultural contexts. Directly managing international teams is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

-

- Experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure.

- Master’s Degree (MBA/MS) and/or PMP Certification preferred.

- Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.

- Experience working for utilities and with or for energy regulators.

- Ability to communicate in additional languages.
