ph3What You'll Do: /h3 pAs GL Accounting Payroll Manager, you'll report to the Senior Manager of Accounting and play a key role in ensuring payroll activity is accurately and completely reflected in the general ledger across all countries we operate in. As part of this, you'll drive the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and full reconciliation between HR data and our ERP. /p pYou'll lead a dedicated team, organizing workloads, running regular 1:1s, and making sure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Getting the fundamentals right matters to us, and you'll be expected to bring both rigor and a positive energy to how the team operates. /p pThis role operates in a SOX‑compliant environment, and you will be expected to deliver your SOX controls on time and to the required standard of quality. /p pYou'll work closely with People teams across multiple countries, developing a solid understanding of local payroll specifics and becoming a trusted accounting partner to HR, as well as with the broader accounting and controllership team, FPA, and other finance stakeholders. A key part of the role involves standardizing and improving how payroll integrates into our financial statements globally. /p pWe're also migrating from SAP to Oracle Cloud ERP, and this role will have the opportunity to contribute to how payroll accounting is designed in our future system — a good fit for someone who takes pride in running a tight process and is genuinely curious about technology and automation. /p pPerimeter included in your scope is worldwide, and centralized per region: Americas, EMEA and APAC. /p pYour tasks will include: /p ul liManagement of the team: ul liEnsure a common set of documentation for the whole team and communicate it to all team members /li liEnsure that each member of the team has a complete understanding of their role /li liSet up an appropriate cadence of individual meetings (weekly or bi‑monthly) with clear allocation of tasks /li liRun a weekly review of tasks to be performed and define priorities for the team /li liPreparation of regular updates to the Management /li liPreparation and analysis of KPI’s, define new action steps /li /ul /li liDaily:



ul liControl of payroll proposals addressed by People department /li liPreparation of HR accruals including bonus, and holiday pay /li liFollow up and accounting for all impacts related to the exercise of stock options and RSU by our employees /li liSanity check on payroll and associated items /li liPrepare cash landing and cash forecast processes /li /ul /li liMonth end closing: ul liReview of all payroll journals /li liRecording of all accounting entries relating to bonus and vacation pay accruals /li liFull reconciliation and documentation of both Balance Sheet and PL positions related to payroll /li liAnalysis of movements in all payroll related balance sheet accounts /li liPreparation of SOX controls /li liAnalysis and understanding of all major variances in social charge ratios /li liFollow up on prior month points raised to People Department /li /ul /li liScalability: ul liHarmonize and standardize payroll accounting across all Criteo entities /li liSupport the integration of payroll data flows from our payroll provider(s) into the accounting systems /li liPlay an active role in the migration from SAP to Oracle Cloud ERP, contributing to the design of payroll accounting processes in the future system /li liIntegrate new countries or acquisitions into standard Criteo processes /li /ul /li liRelationship with auditors: ul liPreparation of all PBC payroll related requests and their appropriate analysis on a quarterly and yearly basis. /li /ul /li liOther ad-hoc projects / tasks: ul liAs appropriate /li /ul /li /ul h3Who You Are: /h3 ul li5–7 years of practical accounting experience, including specialization in payroll accounting with a multinational scope /li liProven ability to lead and motivate a team (4 people),



keeping work organized and priorities clear /li liGood working knowledge of SAP; Oracle Cloud ERP is a strong plus /li liExperience working in a SOX environment /li liExperience in a fast-moving, complex international environment /li liHighly organized, autonomous, and results-driven /li liAccounting qualification (ACCA, CA, or local accounting certification) /li liFluent English; any other language is a plus /li liExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑player mindset /li liA genuine interest in process excellence, with a strong desire to use AI and other technologies to automate work /li /ul ul liStrong Excel skills /li /ul pWe acknowledge that many candidates may not meet every single role requirement listed above.
