The UIC Barcelona selection process involves: /p ul liAn independent board of experts that assesses all applications and decides who will move on to the next stage. All members of this board are from outside UIC Barcelona. /li liA public oral defense by finalist applicants: a presentation about their career (both academic and teaching) and their research projects. /li liFollowing the presentation, the examination panel will ask a series of questions to conclude the defense. The defense should last a total of 60 minutes. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 pWe are looking for a Post‑Doctoral Assistant Lecturer to teach and carry out research in the area of accounting and/or finance. The successful applicant is expected to contribute to the teaching and development of our existing accounting and financial management modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to engage in individual and collaborative research activities resulting in high‑quality and internationally‑rated output in accounting and finance journals.
