NOVELIC is the world's premier provider of mmWave radar systems, perception solutions, end-to-end embedded systems, power electronics, and semiconductor solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors.
Founded in 2013, NOVELIC has built up a strong portfolio of IPs and patents relating to mmWave radar and vision-based perception, and has since shipped tailored solutions for leading automotive and industrial companies in all regions.
Since 2023, NOVELIC has been part of Sona Comstar Group, an Indian Tier 1 automotive company, paving the way towards NOVELIC establishing itself as a supplier of ADAS solutions for the Indian market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform antenna and system-level RF simulations (CST or equivalent) to evaluate beamforming, signal radiation, and propagation characteristics
- Execute radar module measurements in lab and anechoic chamber (e.g., S-parameters, gain, beam patterns)
- Support radar calibration during development, integration, and validation phases
- Develop scripts (primarily in Python) to automate measurement, postprocessing, and data analysis workflows
- Validate RF simulations against real-world test results and contribute feedback to the platform backlog
- Collaborate across system, EE, and DSP teams to optimize the radar sensing stack
- Participate in Program Squads for feature delivery or performance improvement activities
YOUR PROFILE:Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
- Basic understanding of signal processing techniques (e.g., DoA estimation)
- Familiarity with electromagnetic simulation tools (CST, HFSS)
- Solid foundation in RF systems: signal propagation, antenna behaviour, modulation
- Experience with RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, mixers)
Mindset & Behaviours
- Hands-On and Curious: Learns by building, measuring, and iterating
- System Thinker: Sees impact of RF xqbhyrx components on broader radar performance
