ph3Job Summary /h3pSandoz is a general leader and pioneering provider of sustainable biosimilar and generic medicines. We are shaping a simpler, more efficient commercial engine to extend patient access worldwide while improving marketing productivity, speed to market, and customer experience. As the Global Director Market Access, you will support and drive the global market access strategy for Sandoz biosimilars, ensuring competitive, sustainable access and pricing across priority markets. This role focuses on delivering global launch readiness, pricing governance, and core market access materials that enable regions and countries to execute effectively. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine and execute global market access strategy for biosimilars, aligned with commercial priorities and launch sequencing. /liliSupport launch planning with market sequencing, ensuring readiness for priority markets and alignment with regional strategies – collaborating with the global TA leads/brand directors and the cross‑functional planning teams. /liliEstablish and govern global list price frameworks, including guidance for floor and reference pricing to support competitive positioning. /liliDevelop and deliver core global market access materials, including payer value propositions, global dossiers, and pricing guidance for launches and lifecycle management. /liliShape tender launch strategy at a global level, providing strategic direction and best practices for regional execution (without operational tender management) – collaborating with regional access teams. /liliSupport U.S. market access strategy, collaborating closely with local teams to address payer dynamics and policy considerations – support private labels from a global standpoint.
/li /ulh3Qualifications Requirements /h3ulliAdvanced degree in life sciences, economics, or business; MBA or PharmD preferred. /lili10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market access at global or regional level, with strong biosimilars expertise. /liliDeep expertise in pricing governance and payer engagement is required. /liliStrategic thinker with proven ability to execute in complex, fast‑changing environments. /liliExceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and aligning diverse teams. /liliInternational mindset with cultural awareness, ideally gained through global roles or living abroad. /liliBroad therapeutic exposure (e.g., Immunology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Endocrinology) is a plus. /liliUnderstanding of U.S. market access dynamics is desirable. /liliDemonstrated success in building partnerships and collaborating with external stakeholders. /liliStrong track record of leading within matrix organizations and influencing across functions. /liliAbility to prioritize resources and deliver critical initiatives under competitive conditions with agility and pragmatism. /liliResilient and adaptable, thriving in dynamic business contexts. /liliProven ownership and accountability for projects or products, setting ambitious goals and driving results.

Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range.
