The Assistant Professor will predominantly teach undergraduate and graduate courses to students in Exercise Science, Physical Education, Sport Administration, and Sport and Performance Psychology. The faculty member will also partake in scholarly activity at the R2 level, seek external funding, serve on committees of all levels, provide academic advising, chair or serve on thesis committees, and maintain collaborative relationships within and outside the department, including community outreach. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liTeach undergraduate and graduate courses in Kinesiology, focusing on clinical exercise physiology and/or cardiovascular physiology and/or functional anatomy. /li liConduct research at an R2 level and seek external funding opportunities. /li liServe on faculty governance committees and contribute to departmental and university service. /li liAdvise students and chair or serve on thesis committees. /li liDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external research partners. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3Required Education /h3 ul liTerminal doctoral degree in Kinesiology or a closely related field from an accredited institution. /li liApplicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered, but the doctoral degree must be completed by August 1, 2027. /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul liCollege‑level teaching in academic areas directly related to Kinesiology, preferably with an emphasis in clinical exercise physiology and/or cardiovascular physiology and/or functional anatomy. /li liExperience in scholarly activities. /li /ul h3Required Teaching Qualification /h3 ul liAbility to teach one or more of the following areas:
