ph3About The Role /h3 pWe are seeking an experienced and people-focused Area Operations Lead to provide leadership and operational oversight across multiple aviation training centres within the CAT South region. /p pWe are seeking an experienced and people-focused Area Operations Lead to provide leadership and operational oversight across multiple aviation training centres within the CAT South region. /p pWe are seeking an experienced and people-focused Area Operations Lead to provide leadership and operational oversight across multiple aviation training centres within the CAT South region. /p pThe Area Operations Lead is accountable for delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused pilot training operations while ensuring consistent standards, regulatory compliance, asset reliability, workforce capability, and financial performance across all assigned sites. /p pThe successful candidate will lead local operations teams, drive operational excellence, support business growth, and act as a key partner to regional leadership and commercial stakeholders. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pOperational Leadership /p pLead operational performance across multiple training centres in the CAT South region including, but not limited to, Spain Italy. /p pEnsure delivery of safe, compliant, and efficient training operations. /p pMonitor and improve KPIs relating to customer experience, simulator utilisation, quality, and operational performance. /p pDrive continuous improvement initiatives across sites. /p pPeople Leadership /p pLead, coach, and develop operational managers and local leadership teams. /p pBuild a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. /p pSupport workforce planning, succession planning, recruitment, and talent development. /p pEnsure consistent implementation of policies, processes, and best practices across all locations. /p pCustomer Stakeholder Management /p pDevelop strong relationships with customers and strategic partners. /p pAct as a senior escalation point for operational issues.



/p pPartner with various internal teams such as Sales, Training, Technical Operations, and Corporate Functions to ensure customer expectations are met. /p pFinancial Business Performance /p pSupport achievement of revenue, profitability, and utilisation targets. /p pManage operational budgets and cost control initiatives. /p pIdentify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability. /p pContribute to business development planning and regional growth strategies. /p pSafety, Compliance Quality /p pEnsure full compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. /p pPromote a proactive health and safety culture throughout the region. /p pSupport audits, inspections, and corrective action programmes. /p pEnsure operational risks are identified and effectively managed. /p pAsset Infrastructure Management /p pOversee operational readiness of facilities and training assets. /p pWork closely with Technical Operations teams to maximise simulator availability and reliability. /p pSupport infrastructure development, facility improvements, and capital investment projects. /p pPartner with internal procurement teams to drive, manage and improve upon vendor and landlord deals and relationships /p h3Essential /h3 h3Qualifications Experience /h3 pSignificant experience leading multi-site operations across regions and different countries. /p pDemonstrated success managing geographically dispersed teams. /p pStrong operational management background within aviation, aerospace, pilot training, engineering, or a similarly regulated environment. /p pExperience managing budgets and operational performance metrics. /p pStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
