pstrongExpected start date: /strong As soon as possible /ppAbout the role /ppAt strongMAI Group /strong, we are looking for an experienced strongEnvironmental Consultant / EIA Expert /strong to coordinate and prepare Environmental Impact Assessments for energy, industrial and infrastructure projects. /ppThe successful candidate will have solid experience managing projects subject to Environmental Impact Assessment procedures in Spain, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with environmental and administrative regulations. /ppThis position also offers the opportunity to collaborate with our International Environment team on environmental and social assignments in different countries. /ppstrongKey responsibilities /strong /pulliAdvise clients on the most appropriate strategy for obtaining Environmental Impact Statements, improving process efficiency and optimising permitting timelines. /liliPrepare Environmental Impact Assessments for industrial, energy and infrastructure projects. /liliPrepare Strategic Environmental Assessments for plans and programmes. /liliDefine the technical and environmental studies required according to the type and location of each project. /liliCoordinate specialist studies, including botanical and fauna surveys, noise assessments, air quality studies and cultural heritage assessments. /liliLead multidisciplinary teams involved in the preparation of environmental and technical documentation. /liliIdentify, select and manage external consultants and specialist subcontractors. /liliPrepare Environmental Monitoring and Surveillance Plans.



/liliManage and monitor Environmental Impact Assessment and permitting procedures. /liliAct as the main liaison between clients, technical teams, external specialists and competent public authorities. /liliSupport international projects involving Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, lenders’ environmental and social advisory services, environmental and social due diligence and HSE-related assessments. /liliManage several projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, regulatory compliance and delivery deadlines. /li /ulpstrongRequired qualifications and experience /strong /pulliDegree in strongEnvironmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Forest Engineering /strong or a related discipline. /liliAt least strongfive years of professional experience /strong in environmental consultancy or a comparable position. /liliProven experience in the preparation and management of projects subject to Environmental Impact Assessment procedures in Spain. /liliStrong knowledge of Spanish environmental and administrative regulations. /liliHigh level of proficiency in Geographic Information Systems. /liliEnglish proficiency at strongB2 level or above /strong, both written and spoken.
