We are seeking a driven and motivated Associate Director (Cost Management) to act as a leader, managing cost management professionals within larger teams and delivering successful outcomes for our clients. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liTake a leading role in interfacing with the client, stakeholders and other consultants at all project stages. /li liProvide estimate and cost planning including producing and presenting the final estimate. /li liPerform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre‑qualification stage, producing tender lists, tender analysis, producing tender reports, and compiling contractual documents.



/li liManage post‑contract cost variances and the change control processes. /li liManage cost checks and carry out payment recommendations, supporting staff as required. Complete timely, accurate cost checking and valuation processes. /li liProduce monthly cost reports, including presenting to client. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. /li liMinimum of 8 years’ experience in cost management. /li liBroad experience in all cost management areas: planning, estimating, pre‑contract, post‑contract and final account. /li liExperience preparing cost management estimates and reports. /li liExperience with advising clients on value management, value engineering and life cycle costing. /li liUnderstanding of cost (labour, plant, materials) as well as cash flow, commitments and overall project costs. /li liExperience with key aspects of business development. /li liGood organisational skills, ability to multi‑task, and be a team player. /li liAbility to develop good working relationships with project teams. /li liEnglish skills are required; Spanish language skills are preferred. /li liDemonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written and communication skills. /li liWorking knowledge of MS Office software and modern cost management digital tools. /li /ul pTurner Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
