ph3Job Overview /h3pSenior Data Engineer – Investment Data Analytics team, Zurich Insurance Group (ServiZurich) – Barcelona, Spain. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead the technical development and continuous improvement of our Databricks‑based data warehouse and data management platform. /liliDesign and build robust, scalable data architectures. /liliCreate and maintain automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure seamless data integration from diverse internal and external sources. /liliMonitor system performance, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks to drive performance and optimize costs. /liliCollaborate closely with data scientists and analysts across ZIAG to enable advanced analytics, reporting and AI/ML initiatives. /liliImplement and uphold strong data access controls, validation tools and auditing capabilities to ensure data quality and compliance. /liliWork alongside experts in multiple technological domains. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science or related field. /liliAt least 4 years of experience as a data engineer, data architect or similar role – preferably at a financial service, asset management or real‑estate company. /liliPractical experience working with Databricks or a comparable data intelligence platform. /liliHands‑on skills in Python and SQL; experience with Spark is a plus. /liliExperience with Azure cloud environments,
