ppbSenior Underwriter Marine Cargo /b /p pMadrid, España /p pThe Spanish Marine Aviation Underwriting Team within AXA XL provides insurance solutions for a diverse portfolio of large and corporate clients globally, offering a broad range of insurance solutions such as Marine Cargo, Project Cargo, Freight Forwarders Liability, Shipper’s Interest, general aviation, and airport liability policies. /p pWe have a great opportunity for an experienced underwriter to join this successful team and support the expansion of the business. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liReview submissions including applications, policy wording, inspection reports, loss runs and financial reports, while conducting appropriate research to determine the degree of risk for each account. /li liCalculate risk premium by considering risk costs, reinsurance cessions and underwriting and general administration costs to ensure profitability. /li liProactively advise, assist, service and follow up with brokers/clients on insurance and risk management matters to ensure satisfaction and fulfillment of their requirements. /li liManage relationships to initiate cross‑selling opportunities and ensure account retention. /li liControl timely implementation of new and renewed accounts in accordance with quality standards. /li liSupport the business planning and forecasting process; monitor financial exposure and premium income within outlined limits. /li liMaintain awareness of all claims advised and support settlement of claims. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity degree and knowledge of the maritime industry is highly considered. /li liKnowledge of insurance industry fundamentals and proven experience in marine/cargo underwriting activities.
