This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects within a dynamic and growing organization. /p h3About the Role /h3 pThe bProject Controller /b provides independent financial management of projects, from the bidding phase through to project closeout. As part of the Finance function and working closely with Operations, the Project Controller collaborates with Project Managers and Contract Managers to ensure compliance with the group's standards regarding financial performance, accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, and risk management throughout the entire project lifecycle. /p pbMain Responsibilities /b /p p01 Bid Phase /p ul liSupport the Bid Manager in developing the cost model and assessing financial feasibility. /li liReview risks and opportunities and support the Go/No-Go decision-making process. /li /ul p02 Project Start-Up /p ul liParticipate in transferring the project from the bid team to the execution team and review the contract’s financial terms. /li liConfirm the appropriate revenue recognition method based on the contract type. /li liSet up the project, billing plan, and revenue schedule in the ERP system. /li liIssue advance payment invoices and manage performance bonds and advance payment guarantees. /li liEnter and validate the initial financial forecast and present it to management. /li /ul p03 Project Execution and Monitoring /p ul liLead financial reviews during project monitoring meetings (at least quarterly). /li liAnalyze presente results against forecasts, explain variances,



and update the estimated cost to complete. /li liReview risks and opportunities with the Project Manager (PM) and adjust contingencies as the project evolves. /li liOptimize billing milestones to improve cash flow. /li liPrepare and issue invoices, follow up on outstanding receivables, and agree on recovery actions with the PM. /li liManage month-end closing activities, including timesheet allocations, intercompany transactions, cost provisions, and revenue reconciliations. /li liMonitor bonds and guarantees and request their release when appropriate. /li liSupport tax-related inquiries and respond to audit requirements. /li /ul p04 Project Closeout /p ul liVerify the project closeout checklist and confirm final financial settlement with the customer. /li liClose purchase orders, cost allocation codes, and outstanding guarantees, and confirm the cancellation of insurance policies. /li liEnsure that all revenue has been invoiced and collected, with no residual balances remaining. /li liParticipate in lessons learned reviews. /li /ul pbKey Working Relationships /b /p ul lipbProject Manager: /b Primary partner for all project financial matters. /p /li lipbContract Manager: /b Primary partner for all commercial aspects of the project. /p /li lipbProject Sponsor / Business Leader: /b Responsible for overall project performance and approval of forecasts. /p /li lipbFinance Manager:



/b Direct line manager; responsible for validating forecasts and serving as the escalation point for financial matters. /p /li lipbShared Services: /b Responsible for ERP transaction processing, customer onboarding, and invoice issuance. /p /li lipbRegional Treasury: /b Responsible for managing guarantees and bonds, cash flow, and payment instruments. /p /li lipbLegal, Insurance, and Tax Teams: /b Provide support on contractual compliance, insurance coverage, and international tax-related matters. /p /li /ul h3What do we need from you /h3 pbProject Finance Experience: /b Preferably within engineering, consulting, or professional services environments. /p pbContractual Knowledge: /b Familiarity with billing structures, revenue recognition principles, and risk allocation mechanisms. /p pbAnalytical Rigor: /b Ability to work with forecasts, variance analyses, and large volumes of data, drawing meaningful conclusions and recommending practical solutions. /p pbOrganization Under Pressure: /b Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting demanding month-end and reporting deadlines. /p pbIndependent Judgment: /b Ability to make sound financial decisions with minimal supervision. /p pbCommunication and Influencing Skills: /b Ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to operational teams, management, and external auditors. /p pbSystems Proficiency: /b Experience working with ERP financial modules and advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI or equivalent reporting and analytics tools will be considered an advantage. /p h3What's in it for you? /h3 pbWhat We Offer /b /p ul liBe part of a strategic integration process with room for impact and innovation. /li liContribute to globally recognized architecture projects with societal relevance. /li liJoin an international group committed to sustainability and career development. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
