Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Avionics Systems Engineer (f/m) to join our Avionics Department based in Getafe, Spain. You will be part of a team developing Military Derivatives project. As part of the Avionics Team, you will be involved in design and analysis activities aiming at managing the interface between systems to support overall aircraft.Company: Airbus Defence and Space SAURESPONSIBILITIES

Design and development of Avionics Systems for operational conceptsDefinition of requirements documents and technical specificationsV&V; activities: Preparation of Test Procedures, perform development tests and/or monitor formal tests.Perform analysis of test results and test reportsContribute to the execution of program milestones and reviewsSupport the whole design processSupport to Qualification and CertificationSKILLS

Master';s degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or comparable disciplineAt least 3 years of professional experience in a related fieldDesirable background: Aircraft Avionics, Software Test Engineering, Requirements Based Engineering, Equipment/System level developmentProven experience in airborne Avionics systemsGood knowledge of aeronautical stakes/regulations (e.g. ARP4754, DO178, DO254, DO160)Analytical thinking skills, independent working style and good communication skillThe ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary teamAbility to interface with many different stakeholders, from different domains, different functions,



and different countries.Negotiation level in EnglishThis position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.BENEFITS
