Job DescriptionOur client is expanding their Physical Design organization and is looking for a Senior Physical Implementation Engineer, Top Level to support advanced SoC implementation at top level.In this role, you will contribute to the physical implementation process of complex designs, from floorplanning and implementation through tape out support. You will work closely with design, timing, verification and physical design teams to ensure that the top level implementation meets power, performance, area and schedule requirements.Location : Barcelona, Spain - HybridResponsibilities:Support top level physical implementation of complex SoC designsContribute to floorplanning, placement, routing and closure activitiesWork with timing teams on constraints and timing closureCollaborate with RTL, verification, STA and physical design teamsSupport power, performance and area optimizationIdentify and resolve implementation issues across blocks and top level designsSupport tape out readiness and design quality checksContribute to methodology improvements and flow automationRequirements:Senior level experience in physical implementationStrong background in SoC implementation flowsExperience with top level implementationStrong knowledge of floorplanning, placement,



routing and timing closureExperience with advanced semiconductor nodes is highly relevantExperience with EDA flows from Synopsys, Cadence or Siemens is preferredStrong scripting skills, Tcl, Python or ShellAbility to work with design, STA and verification teamsEnglish level C1Bachelor, Master or PhD in Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fieldPreferred / Valued knowledge:Experience working with RISC V architecture is highly valued, especially within processor, SoC, RTL, verification, firmware, software, PCIe, DDR, PCS, DFT, Physical Design or hardware environments.What’s in it for you?Our client offers an exciting, challenging role in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
