An international and fast-growing company in the technology sector is looking for a Finance Accountant to join its Finance team in Alcobendas.
This position is ideal for an accounting professional with solid experience who is ready to work with greater autonomy, take ownership of accounting processes, and continue developing professionally in an international environment.

Main responsibilities:
·Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
·Process and review customer and supplier invoices.
·Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies in customer and supplier accounts.
·Manage debt collection activities following up on overdue invoices and contact customers to secure timely payment as well as verifying customer credit limits.
·Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
·Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
·Calculate and post accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and other closing adjustments.
·Maintain the fixed asset register.
·Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
·Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
·Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls.




·Support marketing budgeting processes when required.
Requirements:
·Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
·Approximately 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
·Good knowledge of general accounting principles and month-end closing procedures.
·Intermediate to advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
·Experience working with ERP systems.
·Knowledge of SAP by Design will be highly valued.
·Good command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
·Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
·Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
