We are looking for a Senior Functional & Automation Tester to join a team of experienced testers and contribute to the implementation of a complex planning management system.

You will work with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and join a project team responsible for the full implementation of a new solution.

Your responsibilities

- Build and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium and ReadyAPI.
- Develop reusable automated tests and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Azure DevOps.
- Execute and enhance automation suites for regression, smoke and integration testing.
- Perform API testing, validate contracts and ensure workflow-aligned coverage.
- Plan, design and execute functional, system integration (SIT), end-to-end (E2E) and regression tests, both manual and automated.
- Identify, log and track defects using Jira, XRay and/or Azure DevOps, providing clear reporting.
- Follow testing standards, maintain documentation and support user acceptance testing.
- Perform smoke, sanity, exploratory, performance, database and cross-browser testing.
- Collaborate with QA specialists, development teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint demonstrations.

Mandatory requirements

- At least 10 years of professional experience in software testing.
- At least 5 years of experience in automation testing.




- At least 3 years of experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Availability to work onsite in Belgium two days per week.
- Professional working proficiency in English, minimum B2 level.
- Fluency in either French or Dutch, minimum C1 level.

Technical skills

- Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium or a similar tool.
- Proficiency with ReadyAPI, Postman or a similar tool.
- Proficiency with Java, TypeScript or Python.
- Expertise in planning, designing and executing manual and automated functional, SIT, E2E, API and regression testing.
- Practical experience with Jira, XRay, Azure DevOps or similar tools for defect identification, logging and tracking.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Azure DevOps.

Soft skills

- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment, including cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and a structured approach to resolving issues.
- Demonstrated organisational skills, initiative and adaptability to change.
