Business/Data Analyst

Location: Brussels, Belgium

4 month initial Contract - Potential to extend to 24 months

€300 per day

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Business/Data Analyst to support business operations through data-driven insights, process analysis, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to identify requirements, improve processes, and deliver actionable reporting that supports strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualisations to support business decision-making.
- Conduct process analysis and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Support data quality management and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and solution validation.
- Prepare documentation, presentations, and analytical reports for stakeholders.




- Work with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and ongoing business initiatives.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business/Data Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working with HR-related data or business processes is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

- Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience in process improvement and business transformation projects.
- Familiarity with HR systems and workforce analytics is beneficial.
