For an international organization with a strong focus on data and digital transformation, we are looking for an experienced Data Modeler.

You will design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational applications. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable data structures and collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Translate business requirements and source-system analysis into clear data structures
- Create data dictionaries, ERDs, data-flow diagrams, and metadata documentation
- Ensure compliance with data-modeling standards and governance principles
- Support efficient ETL/ELT processes and database performance
- Improve data quality, consistency, integrity, and accessibility




- Communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Profile

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant data-modeling experience
- Strong knowledge of dimensional, relational, and entity-relationship modeling
- Solid SQL skills for analysis, profiling, and validation
- Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and database systems
- Experience with cloud data platforms, preferably GCP
- Knowledge of metadata management and data governance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with Data Vault or big-data environments
- Knowledge of real-time data streaming
- Experience with cloud-native data modeling
- Agile or Scrum experience
