We are looking for a profile with a good skillset to strengthen our project accounting team and take the lead in different processes like customer billing, follow-up overdue receivables and project accounting in general.

Important note: this position is open from now until end of this year and will mainly be from our office in Ghent.

What will you be doing?

As a crucial member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Belux delaware

Purchase /invoicing runs smoothly

- A part of your job will be Purchase: Via a purchase order request our colleagues are able to request for a purchase. Your task is to follow up the queue and based on the requests register all purchases and supplier invoices for customer projects via a purchase order and will follow up on approval of these purchases as well. For this a deep knowledge of our internal organization is required to be able to assign the costs to the correct cost centers. Of course our purchase colleagues will guide you here at the start.

Also Project Accounting will be a part of your job as well.

- Project setup: You enter the signed customer contract into our accounting system, review the structure of the project and set up billing information based on the signed customer contract.



You choose the correct project set-up to get the correct accounting revenue and cost recognition.
- Project invoicing: You check and finalize the invoice proposition of the Project Manager: is the pricing correct and are the payments by the customer done according to the contract?
- Quality check and risk analysis: On a monthly basis, you do a thorough check of your bookings. You make careful observations to proactively determine financial risks and follow potential results impact.

- Have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar work environment, ideally with experience in purchase and billing.
- have a bachelor’s degree in Finance/business management, or do you have the necessary experience and all-round accounting skills? Are you interested in learning more about Project Accounting? Then look no further!
