ASIC Test Engineer

European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading microelectronics company, based in Leuven, who are looking for a talented ASIC Test Engineer to join their team.

This is an initial 12 month freelance contract, with planned extensions, that will require you to work onsite in Leuven 3 days per week.

Responsibilities as ASIC Test Engineer:

- The definition and overall planning of the work packages of the different project stages, together with the Project Manager.
- Setting up the ASIC test solution with the test house.
- Discussing the ASIC prototype-to-production volume ramp plan with the customer including characterization & qualification.
- Organizing volume production after the volume ramp phase. You propose cost improvement plans such as yield improvement plans, multi-site test solutions and different packaging options together with the customer and test house.





Requirements:

- You have a Master’s degree in Electronics, preferably with more than 5 years of relevant experience in the areas of ASIC testing ideally.
- You have experience with ASIC qualification such as HTOL, HAST, TC, ESD, LU, etc.
- You have experience in project-based work.
- You are pro-active and customer focused.
