An experienced Solution Architect / Data Architect is sought to play a key role in the evolution of a major organization's digital and data landscape.

You will contribute to the design and evolution of strategic digital and data platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and business objectives. You will work closely with product teams, subject matter experts, solution architects, system architects, and business stakeholders to define scalable, future-proof solutions that support the organization's strategic ambitions and data-centric transformation.

The data platform vision is based on Data Mesh principles, including domain ownership, data as a product, and federated governance. The platform provides data services to internal customers and enables the creation of domain-oriented data products.

As a Solution/Data Architect, you will:

- Steer architecture activities within strategic platform initiatives (business to technology).
- Provide architectural guidance to product management and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with product teams to define solutions aligned with enterprise architectural principles.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, technology, security, and governance standards.
- Design solutions while taking integration, application, and data capabilities into account.
- Support Data Product Teams in defining information domains and data products.
- Contribute to the definition of Transversal Data Models (TDM) and Canonical Data Models (CDM).
- Drive Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to validate architectural decisions and technology choices.
- Support product teams and engineers in designing robust and scalable solutions.
- Facilitate alignment between business needs and technology solutions to achieve strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the definition of best practices, methodologies, standards, principles, and architecture and data governance.

Requirements

Experience & Expertise





- Minimum of six years of experience in a Solution Architect and/or Data Architect role.
- Strong experience with data integration architectures across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns, API-based integrations, and event-driven systems.
- Strong experience with data modelling, including conceptual, logical, and canonical data models.
- Experience with messaging solutions and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with metadata management, data catalogues, and governance platforms is considered an asset.
- Experience with Master Data Management, Big Data, Data Lakes, or Data Mesh architectures is considered a plus.
- Experience with Collibra Data Catalog is considered a plus.
- Experience with SAP, S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and related technologies.

Architecture & Methodologies

- Experience with IT architecture frameworks and standards (for example TOGAF, ArchiMate and ATAM).
- Familiarity with architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect is considered an advantage.
- Good understanding of:
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Microservices architectures
- Event-driven systems
